About iseo.today
Lake Iseo, also called Sebino, lies between the provinces of Brescia and Bergamo in Lombardy. In its middle rises Monte Isola, the largest lake island in southern Europe; at its head are Lovere and the Alto Sebino, at its southern end Iseo, Sarnico and the Franciacorta wine hills. iseo.today brings the lake together in one place: what’s on in every town, the weekly markets, the weather and the wind on the water.
We only publish facts we can trace to a source — the comuni, the lake’s tourist board, local newspapers and clubs, public data such as ISTAT and Wikidata, and weather from Open-Meteo — and we never add details that aren’t there. Every event links back to the organiser or the site that published it. Our software reads public pages politely: it identifies itself and respects robots.txt.

Privacy
iseo.today has no accounts, no forms and no ads. Fonts are served from our own domain.
Visit counts: we count page views with Umami, which runs on our own server and is reached through this site’s own address. It sets no cookies and stores no IP address or anything else that identifies you: only the page, the site you came from, browser, device type, language, and the country, region and town your IP address points to (the address itself is not stored). Because it doesn’t track you, it runs whatever you choose in the cookie settings.
We do not use analytics or tracking cookies.
If you star a town on the weather page, that town’s name is saved in your browser (localStorage) so the home page can show its forecast. It never leaves your device; tap the star again to remove it.
Maps load their tiles from OpenStreetMap and the map library from jsDelivr when you scroll to a map; the live wind readings are fetched from Open-Meteo in your browser. These services receive your IP address like any website you visit.
On the home page, the town and the distance you pick are remembered in your browser (localStorage) so the page opens there next time. They never leave your device; pick the whole lake again to forget the town.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as IP address) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
