About the event

"Madre per sempre" is part of the 24th theatre season 2026-2027 at the Crystal in Lovere. Marisa Laurito and Giorgia Würth star in the play by Marta Barceló, directed by Siddhartha Prestinari.

Two very different women meet by chance: one is close to retirement, the other works in audiovisual production. One has no children, the other has no mother. They agree to get to know each other without intruding on each other's lives, keeping distance and measure.

Over time, through intimate stories and confessions, the rules loosen and the relationship turns into a chosen family that goes beyond biological and social boundaries. With irony, tenderness and humanity, the play reflects on what it means to become a mother and on how love, more than blood, can create a lasting bond.
